| Pediatric Orthopaedics at The Children’s
Hospital of Alabama was established to meet the musculoskeletal
needs of the pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patient.
The staff is committed to the early diagnosis, long-term observation,
and appropriate intervention(s) for the patients. The clinical
practice, research, and educational programs have been created
to provide comprehensive care and rehabilitation of children
with a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions including scoliosis
, hip, knee and foot disorders; neuromuscular diseases; juvenile
arthritis; sports injuries and fractures. Pediatric Orthopaedic
surgeons provide continuous inpatient and outpatient care of
acute and chronic conditions. Pediatric orthopaedic surgeons
have fostered a multidisciplinary approach to the management
of many patients and employ the resources of numerous specialists
at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama. |
