Why UAB?

The UAB hand therapy service provides therapy for impairment resulting from physical injury or trauma, including fractures, burns, tendon lacerations, or replantations diseases such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture; nerve compression, including carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndromes; overuse tendinitis, including tennis elbow and DeQuervain's syndrome; and surgical intervention such as joint replacement and mastectomy.
